Project: Creating a infographic for the students to understand how to schedule virtual tutoring sessions

After deciding on the layout we began adding our steps. We used the project description provided to us in order to write out these steps. We also included helpful information like the parentheses telling the reader what the username would be for their account.

We also added a search bar in step one which gave the website address. The search bar helps to add playfulness to the poster and make it more visually interesting. It also directly relates to the words inside of it as the students will entire the website address in a search bar in order to access it.

For the fonts we wanted to make them easy to read without being too formal. As a result we used a bolded font for the main steps and a font that was easily legible for the actual content of the steps. Our only formal font was at the top to represent the Academic Resource Center. As you may notice the fonts in the infographic steps do not have serifs. This was to add to the simplicity of the shapes in our infographic and to achieve our goal of making the content less formal.
