Project: Creating a comic explaining Covid testing at WPI

We added the Tech flex testing page to the 2nd page of the comic in order to make the comic more accurate and help the students navigate to the right sources. We also recognized that the first and second pages were very wordy and had less visuals because they established the relationship between the character and the information. Based on this we decided that going forward we would try to focus more on images to find a good balance of text and images. In our third slide we used a lot more visuals where words could have been. For example instead of the info text telling our character to grab the things needed for a test, we laid them out on a table and let his thought bubble make a short list. We also added a graphic of our character going to Harrington Auditorium to add some color and make our comic a little more dynamic. It is also worth noting that we kept our pages easy to follow with simple layouts that naturally follow the left to right, up to down reading flow.
