Project: Creating a comic explaining Covid testing at WPI

For our comic we decided to explain Covid Testing. We started with the idea that we wanted a character and the info text to interact and we thought we could use this dynamic to add a little comedy to something that is meant to be informative. We used a bolded font to make it easy to read, but we also picked a font that was not too serious, as we wanted the comic to be fun. The first page is dedicated to establishing the relationship between the informative text and the character. We chose to give the character a red hat to show some connection to WPI and to make him more distinguishable than a plain stick figure. We also made the informative text blue to indicate when it is talking vs. when the character is talking. This is also useful in our comic as it will function as a highlight for the important text that tells the reader the information necessary to get a test.
